FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
This position is responsible for customer service, building security and monitoring during out of school hours. This position requires a person with strong customer service and communication skills, is technology savvy, is self-directed and a team player, is culturally aware, and responsible. Other duties include, but are not limited to, preparing for rentals and use of facility such as meetings, athletic practices, tournaments and other special events - other duties may be assigned by administrator/supervisor. The Building Supervisor must be reliable and flexible with work schedule.
Qualifications
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, and be age(s) 17 . Personal skills must include a professional, friendly, positive, and cooperative work style and the ability to work with many types of people in various circumstances. Candidate must be able to perform tasks proficiently while handling frequent interruptions, multi-task, and possess good communication skills. Additional training may be offered covering First Aid, CPR and AED training.
Salary
Highly competitive salary for the region. Pay per district Casual Wage pay scale.
Working Conditions
Evening hours will vary by school location. Weekend hours may be available Saturday or Sunday
