New Jersey Water Supply Authority has a full-time position for a Supervisor Facilities and Operations Maintenance at the Spruce Run Reservoir, located in Clinton, NJ.

NJWSA’s water system is made up of the Round Valley, Spruce Run and Manasquan Reservoirs, as well as 60 miles of the D&R Canal system. Clean water is our most precious resource, and two million NJ residents depend upon us to guarantee the continuation of this resource. Our Supervisor Facilities Operations and Maintenance supports this mission by ensuring the safe operations and professional appearances of the Clinton Administration building and the NJWSA facilities and properties adjacent to the Spruce Run and Round Valley reservoirs.

Duties include:

· Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

· Oversee a team of maintenance technicians and grounds personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.

· Utilize a computer to maintain records of: timesheets, materials and equipment used, work completed, history of maintenance, and employee training.

· Conducts and/or supervises regular inspections of facilities, grounds, and equipment.

A successful candidate requires two years of experience supervising facilities and grounds maintenance staff and eight years of facilities and grounds maintenance experience. Additionally, a valid driver’s license is required, and NJ residency is required within the first year of employment.
