Rehabilitative Health Services was established in August of 1998 and is currently in its 25th year of operation.RHS currently has collaborative partnerships with Badger, Inc. who provides staffing and administration for the and in Idaho Falls and with Best, LLC who contracts staffing and administration for and Center for Hope South Chapter in Pocatello.We have provided mental health services to the community of South Eastern Idaho since our inception. On average RHS serves an estimated 1500 clients at any time with an annual clientele service of over three thousand patients per year. Currently, we accept most major private insurances, Medicaid, Medicare, Optum Idaho Medicaid, and True Blue/Blue Cross Special Needs Programs

Certified Peer Support Specialist
Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) have experienced a mental illness and recovery and are well positioned to support others who are seeking recovery. Peers offer hope and encouragement by sharing their experiences and knowledge. They create opportunities for individuals to live satisfying and meaningful lives. These specialists will encourage, motivate, and support goals for recovery.

In many cases Peer Support Specialists work hand in hand with CBRS and Case Management services.

Mental health clients who have become stable can become certified as a Peer Support Specialist themselves.

To become a qualified Family Support Specialist

A family with a child experiencing emotional, behavioral and or mental health challenges can be like navigating a ship through a stormy sea. A Family Support Specialist is someone who has first hand experience in the complex tasks of collaborating with schools, physicians, therapists and community resources. Having “lived the experience” and received specialized training these unique specialists are poised to show you the ropes and help make the journey easier.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least one year of lived experience as a parent or an adult caregiver raising a child or has raised a child who live with a behavioral health diagnosis (mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder) and has successfully navigated the systems of care.
• Have a high school diploma or GED

Applicants must be certified with current certificate, personable, possess appropriate professional boundaries, organizational skills, quality documentation, impeccable ethics, and overall professionalism.

Job Requirements include:

• Idaho Peer Support Certification
• Ability to work in a team environment- computer literacy.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Must pass background check with DHW, and have own reliable transportation with insurance.
