Hiring Mechanic / Technician to support quality team in equipment inspections before customer delivery. You will ensure that manufactured products meet the organizations standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

- CTOS Equipment: Boom Trucks / Cranes, Bucket / Dump Trucks, Digger Derricks, Utility Trucks & more.
- Background in truck diesel, hydraulic. electrical wiring / schematics.
- Monday - Friday, Day Shift, 5am - 3:30pm (currently 10-hour shifts)

Essential Duties and Skills:
- General mechanical aptitude and experience with parts required. Knowledge of hydraulic, heavy equipment, diesel truck and/or farm equipment preferred.
- Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.
- Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections and dielectric testing, and other tests on units as necessary to ensure quality and performance on the finished product.
- Record data from test procedures and inspections
- Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit.
- Document and report quality assurance issues
- Assure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and industry requirements.
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Prepare unit for delivery to customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with the company’s safety, quality procedures and policies.
- General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, etc.) to process orders. Knowledge of inventory software to process purchase orders and tracking inventory helpful.
- Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s license
- 3 plus years of related industry experience
- VoTech / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training desired
- Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
