Position: Farm Hand/Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals to crops or fields.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate application rates.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling and applying chemicals.
• Monitor weather conditions to determine optimal timing for application.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, including types and amounts of chemicals used.
• Inspect equipment regularly for maintenance and repair needs.
• Collaborate with agronomists and farmers to develop customized fertilization plans.
• Provide recommendations for improving soil health and crop yield.
• Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in fertilizer application.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and schedules.

Are You Qualified?

• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
• Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
