Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Assess customers needs and provide information on our products, features and benefits
Create a fun, relaxed environment for customers to feel comfortable shopping
Actively maintain a tidy sales floor and stockroom
Be a self-starter when doing tasks
Juggle multiple customers at a time
A team player who possesses the ability to work together in a learning culture
Be a vital part of brand decisions with customer feedback and observations
Own personal sales goals, along with team goals
Requirements
Work experience as a sales associate
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency utilizing Apple technology and Omnichannel POS systems
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service focus
High school degree; BA/BS degree would be a plus
Work Hours
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store/Company needs
Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
Comfortable working alone and opening/closing the store.
Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
Hours: 5 hrs, or more as needed
