Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Sales Associate Requirements :
RESPONSIBILITES
- Support a Team Selling environment that delivers a Fashion Focused Experience with Exceptional Service to all customers
- Create everlasting connections with clients by offering credit, our rewards program, and Lane Personal Styling appointments
- Technology proficient including operating an iPad and a POS system
- Demonstrate selling, incentive, and product knowledge strategies
- Replenish, recover, and maintain a clean organized store environment.
- Maintain sales floor and fitting room coverage at all times
- Partner with Store Leadership Team to execute floor sets to visual brand standards
- Answer customer concerns to help resolve any issues
- Support event execution
- Maintain awareness of all sales promotions
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrates respect and openness for differing ideas, opinions, and backgrounds. Embrace our diverse culture.
- Responsible for contributing to the efforts to prevent shrink and safety awareness
- Reports to work as scheduled; remains flexible to the needs of the business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- High school diploma required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to reach, push, pull, stand, squat and bend for up to 4 hours or longer as necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to climb up to an 8-foot ladder
