Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
- Assist customers in finding the right products or services based on their needs
- Conduct sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets set by management
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store objectives
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in technical sales, electronics sales, or jewelry sales is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Highly organized with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sales transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
