Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed.     POSITION: EDI LOGISTICS AND INVENTORY SPECIALIST

    Fashion Angels is seeking an energetic and proactive EDI LOGISTICS AND INVENTORY SPECIALIST to join our team and help support our growth. You must be very organized with great attention to detail and timeliness. We are looking for a quick learner who can work well with others in collaboration, as well as work quickly on their own, ensuring all outgoing products will be shipped out accurately and on-time.

    This is a full-time, in-person position with a FOUR DAY WORK WEEK!

    We work Monday thru Thursday 8am-5:30pm in our Third Ward Historic Building.

    *Salary commensurate and negotiable based on experience and value.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Communicates with sales timing of deliveries to help meet business goals and address issues.
    • Develops business relationships with 3rd party warehouse, production, logistics and sales.
    • Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
    • Provide resolution for EDI transaction issues using previous experience.
    • Manage EDI reference information such as item catalog, ship-to locations, customer setups, mapping, etc.
    • Create shipping labels prior to shipments and send ASN’s after shipments.
    • Ensuring the best service level from receipt of orders for processing, and allocation, to troubleshooting needed after receipt of deliveries to customers, maintaining a high level of confidentiality while developing strong relationships with customers.
    • Tracking past and future orders, updating all the Account Managers, Customers, and Business Planners.
    • Work with 3rd party distribution center and other departments across the organization to meet customer ship windows.
    • Working closely with the inside sales team and sales representatives to understand customer needs and guidelines, order history, order progress, complaints, pricing changes, and account status.
    • Monitoring the status of orders portfolio and reviewing inventory levels to ensure all backorders are properly fulfilled or allocated for upcoming needs to meet on-time delivery.
    • Help coordinate the company’s daily domestic shipping from 3rd party distribution center ensuring timely deliveries and avoiding cost overruns.
    • Monitoring of all warehouse operations including stock management and operational efficiency. Help to order supplies (boxes, etc) as needed.
    • Help analyze operational costs and devise strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
    • Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
    • Analyzes weekly product levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2-4 years experience in field of logistics or inventory control.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, trouble-shooting, and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS Office applications, Outlook
    • Experience working with FedEx, UPS, EDI and other shipping portals.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Team player.
    • High school diploma or college preferred.
    • Excellent written and organizational skills.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
