For our quick-service restaurant, we are looking to add a welcoming and professional cashier to the team. As the customer's first point of contact, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. This is a busy, high-volume food service environment, and we need someone who can provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include the cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a willingness to be adaptable and take on a variety of tasks, are required of the ideal candidate. $15 per hour

• Greet customers and assist with questions about menu and ordering
• Assure prompt delivery of all customer food and beverage orders
• Relay charges to customer, take payments and give back the appropriate change if necessary
• Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database, and relay orders to the kitchen staff
• Verify the cash drawer totals at the beginning and end of each shift

• Clean and stock orders

• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are needed
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Customer service skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues alike is needed
• Requires basic computer skills and the ability to use a cash register or POS system
• Prior experience as a cashier or working with money considered a plus
