Cook Assistant

Part-Time: 32 hours per 2 week pay period

Available Shifts: Days of the week may vary and will include varied weekends and holidays. These positions enjoy every other weekend and every other holiday off!

Cook Assistant

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Cook Assistant to join our top-notch culinary team at our Eagle Crest South facility. The Cook Assistant will provide a high-quality dining experience for residents by not only cooking but serving attractive and nutritious meals.

What You’ll Do

• Duties include quantity cooking, dish room duties, cleaning duties, serving resident’s meals, restocking and other kitchen responsibilities.
• Responsible for the daily preparation of fresh-made recipes such as salads, sandwiches and other Bistro items, as well as stocking items in the Bistro area as needed
• Preparing supplies for cooking line and restocking diminished stock as needed, assist with baking and preparing desserts

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate meat slicer.
• Ability to multitask is a must
• Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment
• Quantity cooking experience, a plus but not required
• One year of cooking experience in a long-term care, hospital, or restaurant setting preferred but not required; We will train the right fit for our team!
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; this position will occasionally require transporting meals to other communities.

Our Wages

• Our starting rate is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
• We pay for high performance! We will review your wage at 100 days.
