Field Auditor travels to assigned sites to audit inventory levels and ensure policy compliance. Reviews security and cash handling procedures and loss prevention data. Being a Field Auditor evaluates compliance with company policies, investigates any discrepancies found, and documents them for action by management. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Field Auditor typically reports to a manager. The Field Auditor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     WHO YOU ARE:

    You enjoy preparing, reviewing, and auditing financial transactions, schedules, and reports in accordance with regulatory policies and procedures. You also like to use attention to detail to determine the accuracy of figures, calculations, completeness, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. 

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Maintain an efficient and organized electronic and paper filing system.
    • Reviews and processes internal and external documentation for accuracy, authenticity, completeness and compliance with Bingo policies and procedures and Tribal Gaming Regulations.
    • Inputs data into computer, prepares computerized reports.
    • Generates reports for distribution internally and externally on a department basis.
    • Performs reconciliations of various paperwork, accounts, schedules, and statements, generates daily journal entry.
    • Review invoices for input, review computer reports.
    • Review purchase requisitions and competitive pricing for best value, prepare purchase orders when necessary, and process paperwork for approval to the General Manager.
    • Assists in the filing, sorting, and document maintenance of department paperwork.
    • Assists other accounting personnel as job duties are completed, or in the case of absences.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • AA/AS or Technical degree in accounting or related field preferred. 
    • One (1) year of bookkeeping or applicable gaming experience required.

    Since we first opened on January 21, 1985, Muckleshoot Bingo has helped the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe launch a period of economic prosperity. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a small bingo tent located where our sister property Muckleshoot Casino now stands, into a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot entertainment space, boasting two floors with over 1,000 bingo seats and over 500 of the hottest Vegas-style slot machines, and annually employ over 200 people from across the greater Auburn area.
