SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are currently in search of a skilled Field Mechanic to join our expanding team in the Middletown/Dover, DE area. Reporting directly to the Field Repair Dispatch, the Field Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL license and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair and diesel mechanics. Proficiency in hydraulic and electronic systems is essential. Field Mechanics can expect to work in diverse environmental conditions, requiring adaptability and problem-solving skills. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Diagnose and conduct on-site equipment repairs.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to meet safety standards.
• Order necessary parts for repairs.
• Adhere to safe working practices.
• Travel occasionally as required.
• Fulfill other related duties and functions as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in heavy equipment repair and diesel mechanics required.
• Proficiency in hydraulics and electronics is necessary.
• Capable of working independently. 
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary.
• Must possess a valid CDL license.
