Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to join our team. As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. Seeking someone who works well in a team and can effectively communicate with the rest of the management team. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and foreman to ensure smooth project execution
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract requirements
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Collaborate with project superintendents to address any issues or concerns that may arise during construction
- Provide guidance and support to field staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and tools to complete their tasks effectively
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, safety check ups, change orders, and progress updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Field Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
