Field Engineering Manager - Construction supervises on-site technical oversight activities to provide engineering guidance and monitoring for construction projects. Monitors construction progress and conducts daily site inspections to ensure work complies with time, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Being a Field Engineering Manager - Construction enforces quality control procedures and inspection protocols to ensure that standards, designs, blueprints, and specifications are understood and followed. Troubleshoots technical issues that arise on-site and consults with architects, contractors, and supervisors to develop and implement solutions with minimal disruption to project schedules. Additionally, Field Engineering Manager - Construction documents construction activities using logs, progress, and inspection reports and regularly updates status to project managers. Procures and coordinates any additional resources required to support field engineering activities. Attends project meetings to provide technical input and recommend improving construction processes. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Engineering Manager - Construction supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Position: Field Supervisor (Foreman) – Sewer, Water, Excavation, General Civil
HRP Construction Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor (Foreman) to join our team where you will lead one of our crews building various types of civil construction projects including sewers, watermains, water and wastewater facilities, roads, small bridges, and earthwork and grading.

· Ensure that Safety is #1 and Quality is #2, always!
· Be our field manager on individual construction projects, leading a crew of our tradespeople, and managing our subcontractors, vendors, and partners.
· Drive success by building projects on time and under budget.
· Be a creative and aggressive planner and problem-solver.
· Maintain positive external relationships with customers, engineers and inspectors, subcontractors, and the general public.
· Document work put in place.

We Trust You Have:
· 7 years of civil construction experience.
· Prior experience as a foreman or similar (strongly preferred).
· Knowledge of construction safety, safety equipment, and OSHA requirements.
· Necessary construction knowledge including use of surveying equipment (transit, level, etc.), rotating lasers, pipe lasers, safety harnesses and tripods, gas detectors, and numerous other tools.
· Proficiency at reading plans and specifications.
· General working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Ability to remain positive under a demanding workload, deadlines, and outdoor working conditions in all weather.
