Field Service Coordinator supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment on designated sites. Provides support and guidance to service personnel who set up and operate a variety of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment. Being a Field Service Coordinator ensures operations comply with all regulatory policies and procedures. Schedules routine maintenance on equipment to ensure uptime and adequate performance. Additionally, Field Service Coordinator implements process improvements to enhance field services and meet field requirements on time and within the contracted budget. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Service Coordinator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Field Service Coordinator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Overview: Under general supervision, plans, develops, and coordinates health, safety and environmental compliance and specific Company HSE programs or initiatives for assigned area.
    Essential Duties:
    - Assists with implementation of corporate incident prevention and loss control systems and programs into local operations.
    - Identifies and analyzes conditions which could result in incidents, environmental damage, and financial losses, evaluates their potential consequences, and works with the HSE Manager and Operations Manager to implement corrective actions.
    - Reports statistical data to the HSE Manager related to occupational injuries and illnesses, environmental releases and vehicle incidents.
    - Maintains limited liaisons with industry associations, professional associations and customers regarding HSE related issues.
    - Maintains awareness of developments in the HSE field.
    - Ensures compliance with applicable local regulations and contractual HSE requirements of customers.
    - Attends local customer and industry meetings regarding occupational safety and health matters.
    - Works closely with the local Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
    - Assists/leads all incident investigations in conjunction with operations personnel.
    - Spends the majority of their time in the field assisting operations with HSE compliance.
    - Ensures only approved HSE vendors are utilized for any HSE related services.
    - Maintains any local HSE related permits, to include ensuring that all permit requirements are met.
    - Assists with DOT compliance locally.
    - Performs regular HSE audits locally and reports findings and recommended corrective actions back to the HSE Manager.
    - May perform HSE training as needed.
    Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
    All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.
    Skills and Abilities:
    Ability to:
    - Perform all assigned duties.
    - Ability to read and interpret policies, programs and regulations.
    - Ability to travel and work potentially long hours.
    - Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to assist in the implementation of company HSE policies and procedures.
    - Professional attitude and appearance.
    - Intermediate computer skills.
    - Good driving record (Positive MVR check).
    - Bi-lingual is a plus
    Knowledge:
    - Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and associated HSE regulations.
    - Familiarity with HSE management systems and programs.
    - Understanding of what we do as a company.
    - Intermediate understanding of HSE regulations and customer HSE requirements.
    - Medical case management experience helpful
    Minimum Education and Certification:
    - High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
    - Associate's / Bachelor's degree (preferred).
    - OHST or ASP (preferred).
    - OSHA 30 hour (preferred).
    - OSHA 501 (preferred).
    Minimum Experience:
    - Typically, 5-6 years of related HSE experience.
    - Experience in the oil & gas field (preferred).
    Leadership:
    - May serve as a resource to others with less experience.

    - Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
    - Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit 6-8 hours a day.
    - Ability to drive 4-6 hours a day.
    - Ability to perform repetitive motions such as simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, finger dexterity, and foot movement.
    - Ability to frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, and reach.
    - May be exposed to: Chemicals, cold, dampness, fumes/gases, heat/humidity, heights, noise, and radiation.
    Problem Solving and Innovation:
    - Most assignments regularly require some problem identification and resolution.
    - Recommends solutions to non-recurring problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data.
    - Anticipates and proactively solves moderately complex problems using internal and external resources.
    - Expected to identify opportunities and to provide ideas, methods and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency and quality.
    Impact:
    - Actions and decisions impact costs and schedule performance in assigned area, but completed work is typically reviewed for accuracy.
