Service Coordinator Job Objective

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for the job estimating, quoting, sales, and scope of work. The Service Coordinator is responsible for dispatching Field Service Engineers (FSE) to necessary installations and service calls while maintaining the department schedule. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Aftermarket Sales and Service.

Service Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispatches and schedules Field Service Engineers to customer facilities based on skillset and responsiveness;
• Works with customers to understand the scope of work on all field service projects. Prepares and delivers estimates to customers for service projects
• Tracks and documents change orders to ensure proper billing at project completion;
• Manages the purchasing process to ensure materials are ordered and sent to job sites on time. Receives inbound requests for additional information from the field to determine a proper course of action with materials management;
• Follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction through machinery support and prompt customer communication;
• Assures completion of customer’s punch list at Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Tracks and maintains records of warranty work;
• Maintains customer data and communications through Service Lighting software;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Service Coordinator Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a technical field preferred, but not required;
• 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience;
• Minimum 5 years of technical capital equipment experience;
• Salesforce / Service Lighting experience preferred; Field Service Management software experience required;
• Ability to build rapport and interact effectively with personnel at all levels within the Company and with vendors and business partners outside the Company;
• Demonstrates highly ethical behavior and good judgment;
• Effective listening, verbal, and written communications skills, as well as Effective time/project management skills;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Flexible with the ability to successfully manage ever-changing priorities as necessary;
• Willingly takes on additional assignments as requested;
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
