Field Service Director manages field service personnel to provide effective on-site support and technical assistance with various products or equipment. Plans and oversees installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime. Being a Field Service Director oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Additionally, Field Service Director develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Reviews service reports to monitor service performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved, utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Our Connecticut team is looking for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background to manage equipment and perform service related repairs for our clients with systems ranging from small countertop laboratory point-of-use applications to large central systems. Training will be provided for specific applications, equipment, and water testing procedures.
Primary Role & Responsibilities:
· Perform preventative maintenance, Trouble shooting, Emergency System Service
· System sanitizations
· Replacing water filters
· Replacing UV lamps
· Replacing Reverse Osmosis Membranes
· Fill out preventive maintenance logs.
· Maintain a Hydro Fleet Vehicle.
· Retain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Exchanging DI tanks
· Water testing
· Available for 24/7 “On Call” rotation after completion of training
Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
· Valid driver’s license w/ record in good standing is required
· Must have Hands on type of experience (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc..)
· Must know how to use basic hand and power tools.
· Good customer service skills
· Ability to complete maintenance documents
· Ability to lift 100 lbs.
