Position Summary:

San Antonio Armature Works, an Industrial Service Solutions company, is looking for a Field Service Technician that will maintain motors and generators while preventing downtime and motor or generator failure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot DC Motors and Generators.
• AC&DC Motor and Generator repair.
• Provide start-up, operate, trouble-shoot, and optimize equipment performance.
• On-site start-up and services/repairs for all drives, starters, and controls.
• Bearing inspection and replacement.
• Rewinding stators on-site.
• Outage and turn-around support.
• Offline baker motor circuit testing.
• Vibration analysis.
• Vibration condition monitoring.
• Field Balancing Rotating Members.
• Laser alignment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with AC&DC Motor and Generator repair a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
