Field Service Director manages field service personnel to provide effective on-site support and technical assistance with various products or equipment. Plans and oversees installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime. Being a Field Service Director oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Additionally, Field Service Director develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Reviews service reports to monitor service performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved, utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Field Service Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Field Service Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Field Supervisor

  • POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

    The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned pool technicians. This position will ensure that all assigned work is performed in a safe, timely, effective, and efficient manner by implementing E-Konomy processes. The incumbent is tasked with coaching, training and resolving issues as well as serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the onboarding and ongoing training for pool maintenance technicians.
    • Perform needs assessments on pool maintenance technicians to determine and address areas of opportunities to improve efficiency.
    • Perform and/or delegate one-time pool maintenance.
    • Perform quality control inspections and ensure all items are completed by technicians.
    • Allocate extra pools to technicians.
    • Clean extra pools when necessary.
    • Cover open pool routes when vacant of for vacation/illness coverage.
    • Support pool technicians with troubleshooting equipment chemicals and equipment/chemical safety.
    • Supervise, motivate, develop, and provide direct leadership to subordinates.
    • Resolve customer disputes and escalate to maintenance manager if not resolved on first contact.
    • Communicate concerns and recommend repairs to customers; perform limited repairs on serviced pools.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
    • 2 years’ experience in the pool and spa industry.
    • 1 year of experience in a supervisory position.
    • CPO Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
    • Pima County Health Pool Operator Certification, or ability to obtain certification.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
    • Operate a company vehicle.
