Job Title:Field Service Technician (Commercial Kitchen Equipment)

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing world-class customer service in order to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial food equipment and appliances (grills, ovens, fryers, etc)
OR HVAC systems and refrigeration (reach-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, etc) for our valued customers. This is a non-supervisory position and reports to the Field Service Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following but other duties may be assigned.)
Coordinate with Field Manager to assure consistency in our service strategy and execution.
Properly troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs commercial food equipment and appliances, HVAC systems and refrigeration.
Provides elite customer service and professionally communicates the service needed to customers
Defines service problems, collects data, establishes facts, and enters accurate information into tablet, as well as communicates effectively with Dispatcher.
Follows safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
Maintains a neat and orderly truck, along with a good part and tool inventory.
Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics Policy at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have valid drivers license and clear driving record.
Safety conscious.
A customer-focused attitude, with a high degree of professionalism.
Works well on a team.
Refrigeration technicians must be able to obtain EPA certification first three (3) months.
Ability to work with little direct supervision with accuracy.
Ability to analyze, retain and solve problems.
Proven ability to handle inventory needs.

Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
Must be able to adapt with frequent change, delay, or unexpected events.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of education/experience in food service equipment repair or related area is a plus.
Background experience in gas, electricity, plumbing and/or steam repairs or a strong desire and willingness to learn/study quickly.
Strong experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration is a plus.
Knowledge or experience of on computer systems and tablets or a strong desire and willingness to learn/study quickly.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience
