Job Overview:

We are recruiting for a temporary Operations Supervisor based in Brownsville, Texas. The successful candidate will oversee operations at the company's yards and ports, ensuring materials are prepared and loaded according to set procedures and quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the efficiency of the operational processes and the performance of the subcontractors in screening, blending, and material movement operations.
• Coordinate taking samples and keep records of temperature and moisture readings, as needed.
• Facilitate surveyor activities.
• Supervise and inform the performance of operations daily.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment.
• Supervise the material loading process for each shipment and liaise with the involved parties on the ground.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of bulk materials and shipment processes is an asset.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $17.50 - $18.63 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
