Role Summary:

 At MEVCO, we are seeking a high voltage Field Service Technician dedicated to exceeding customer expectations at mining operations across Western Australia. Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to mining sites in Western Australia to support EV fleet vehicles.
• Work independently and remotely to efficiently follow MEVCO and Rivian high voltage and EV repair procedures while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles and batteries as needed.
• Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality.
• Manage parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Stay updated with technical skills and training.
• Maintain high-quality work and efficiency with minimal supervision.
• Foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Accurately document repairs.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years’ experience as a Field Service Technician in a customer facing position
• High voltage certification, vehicle diagnosis repair experience are required to be considered for the position.
• 3P Training Certification is a big plus!
• Mining experience or the desire to work in the mining industry is also a big plus but not mandatory to be considered for the position.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in an automotive repair shop is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Availability for a regular 40-hour work week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Experience with work order management systems.
• Experience in startup environments preferred.
• Patience and eagerness to learn.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• No driving-related suspensions or revocations in the past 3-5 years.
• Must pass criminal and employment background checks.
