Field Service Supervisor jobs in Green Bay, WI

Duties: ASI is seeking a qualified individual for the field service supervisor position at ASI. Duties include managing all aspects of the field service department, including:

• Managing field service engineers
• Scheduling field service work, including, preventive maintenance visits, install supervision, start-up and commissioning
• Providing technical assistance, both in-house and at the end user’s site
• Providing excellent customer service and building rapport with end user, installation crews, and third-party consultants during customer visits, start-ups, and installation support
• Aftermarket support, including troubleshooting and parts ordering
• Ensuring that equipment is installed to specifications via electrical schematics, specification lists, and CAD prints
• Setting up and troubleshooting air balance, gas burners, fans, wiring, piping, air lines, retraction systems, and switches
• Checking pressure readings and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation
• Debugging, correcting, and documenting all errors or issues associated with customer site visits and quality control tasks
• Maintaining records concerning changes to engineering or end user supplied documentation
• Producing timely and detailed service reports
• Performing inhouse quality control checks on electrical cabinets and wiring, as needed
• PLC and HMI programming for Allen Bradley and Siemens-based controls
• Revising programming for corrections, enhancements, or system changes
• Writing and reviewing end user and technical documentation to confirm consistency with program operation
• Creating documentation for user manuals pertaining to operation

· Ability to work with coworkers and customers in a competent and professional manner

· Self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

· Detail oriented individual with a positive attitude and the ability to handle multiple job assignments

· Other duties as required

· Approximately 30-35% travel required

Qualifications: The candidate should have the following qualifications:

· A minimum of an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field AND at least five years of relevant experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field a plus

· Mechanical aptitude

· Firm grasp and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, design principles, and mathematical concepts

· Experience programming PLCs and HMIs

· Knowledge of drying equipment, coating technology, and/or converting industry a plus

· Detailed knowledge of electrical schematics, PLC control systems, and AutoCAD electrical

· Ability to identify, evaluate, and solve problems

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational and analytical skills

· Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
