Field Service Supervisor oversees field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. Schedules and trains field service representatives. Being a Field Service Supervisor responsibilities also include maintaining offices and facilities including ensuring inventory is fully stocked. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Field Service Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Duties: ASI is seeking a qualified individual for the field service supervisor position at ASI. Duties include managing all aspects of the field service department, including:
· Ability to work with coworkers and customers in a competent and professional manner
· Self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
· Detail oriented individual with a positive attitude and the ability to handle multiple job assignments
· Other duties as required
· Approximately 30-35% travel required
Qualifications: The candidate should have the following qualifications:
· A minimum of an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field AND at least five years of relevant experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field a plus
· Mechanical aptitude
· Firm grasp and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, design principles, and mathematical concepts
· Experience programming PLCs and HMIs
· Knowledge of drying equipment, coating technology, and/or converting industry a plus
· Detailed knowledge of electrical schematics, PLC control systems, and AutoCAD electrical
· Ability to identify, evaluate, and solve problems
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills
· Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
