Field Service Supervisor oversees field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. Schedules and trains field service representatives. Being a Field Service Supervisor responsibilities also include maintaining offices and facilities including ensuring inventory is fully stocked. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Field Service Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.   • General Responsibilities:

    Field Supervisors are responsible for the direct oversight of employees of a designated account and/or on a designated shift.  To include ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. This is a standing post & driving post, with constantly patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, Cargo Area. 

    SALARY:  $22/hr.

    Availability     2PM - 10:30PM Friday to Monday (OFF Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (Schedule are subject to change)

    Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned.)

    • Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks. 
    • Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
    • Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered. 
    • Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests. 
    • Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy 
    • Represent ABM by participating in client briefings and communicating with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations. 
    • Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
    • Maintain daily shift report for managers.
    • Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).
    • Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
    • Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees. 
    • Conduct Safety and Quality audits. 
    • Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the operation.
    • Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. 
    • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
    • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. 
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

     Reasoning Ability:

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    General Company Requirements:

    • Employee must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must always wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID.
    • Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Team Member National Handbook & the New York Supplemental Handbook.

    License / Certificates:

    • Valid State Security Guard License
    • Valid 8 hours annual in-service training certificate 16 hours OJT certificate
    • Valid State Driver License

    Experience:

    • Three years of Supervisor experience preferred.

    Overall:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
    • Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable)
