Construction Superintendent

Vogts Construction is seeking a Superintendent to join our team! Vogts Construction Company is a growing Kansas & Indiana based focused General Contractor. Current and future projects include construction management, design-build and lump sum. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and building lasting positive relationships with customers and communities. We are looking for a qualified & experienced individual to join our team and fulfill the role of Traveling Superintendent. The right individual should take pride in organization, process improvement, customer service, personal results and overall company performance.

• This position is a traveling position that will require travel and lodging to a various project sites in the Mid-West Region.
• Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
• Home base to be based out of our Indianapolis location.

The best fit starts with some or all the below knowledge, skills, & abilities:

- At least 5 years’ experience in Commercial and Industrial Construction

- A core purpose as an active leader to direct a safe work environment for all on job sites that will include providing a construction project with a successful budget and schedule

- Develop a written schedule to help guide materials, equipment, and personnel while monitoring overall job progress and proactively identify project issues at multiple job sites

- Examine the project drawings and specifications to give you the knowledge in assisting your project teams to meet the architect’s, engineer’s and owner’s intent

- Represent the Company with the utmost integrity in all aspects and interaction with customers, vendors, subcontractors and the general public

- Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook and Bluebeam

Starting Pay: $50,000-$75,000/year – based on experience

Project Bonuses – based on job profitability

Accrued Paid Time Off – 2.0 hours/week (equals over 3 weeks/year)

Company-Paid Holidays – 6 Per Year

Health Insurance Reimbursement – Up to $900/month for approved insurance expenses depending on filling status
