Position: Commercial Construction Superintendent

Our multi‐state dynamic and growing construction company is looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent in our Commercial division.

The ideal candidate will have strong trade and job supervision experience, also will require experience in New commercial construction, ground ups and renovations. The candidate will need to have the ability to manage a project from the planning stage to delivery. This involves working with established and new sub‐contractors and managing OSHA compliance. This candidate will require critical thinking skills necessary to resolve the day‐to‐day issues with professionalism and tact. Experience in car dealerships is preferred but not required

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Ability to interpret plans/drawings of all trades
• Understand project scope and objectives
• Predict resources need to reach objectives
• Involvement in tracking project costs to meet budget
• Developing and managing a detailed internal project schedule
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to management
• Manage vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating delivery expectations
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standard throughout entire project execution
• Monitor job progress, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet deadlines
• Manage customer satisfaction within construction period and obtain acceptance of completed project
• Ability and willingness to assist with other aspects of job
• Ability to carry out and execute both written and oral instructions
• Accountability for jobsite safety in accord with OSHA requirements

Requirements:

• 5 years of Commercial Superintendent experience (New construction and Remodel)
• 5 years of major trade experience
• Computer literate and internal reporting
• Ability to interpret plans/drawings of all trades
• High level communication skills
• Proven ability to complete projects according to scope, budget, and timeline
• Solid organizational skills, attending to detail, and multi‐tasking
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
• Valid driver’s license with record satisfactory to employer’s insurance company
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening – we are proud to be a drug‐free workplace.
• Some traveling may be required

Compensation based on experience; Vehicle allowance, Cell phone re‐imbursement, bonus potential, paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
