Field Superintendent - Construction jobs in Stockton, CA

Pacific Construction is a growing commercial general contractor in Northern California seeking an experienced, hard-working, dedicated, and self-motivated construction superintendent to help manage our many projects.

The position calls for the supervision of subcontractors to ensure our projects are delivered on time. The construction superintendent will also allocate and monitor project budgets.

A Construction Superintendent executes construction projects by organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks. They complete quality inspections and supervise all project members, including staff and sub-contractors.

Below is a list of primary responsibilities and qualifications to begin employment with Pacific Construction.

• Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Ensure project safety procedures are in place and obeyed.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and scope.
  • Review project documentation and file organization.
  • Update project schedules (weekly) and distribute.
  • Maintain schedule/timelines/deadlines.
  • Host site meetings; weekly safety meetings, OAC, sub-contractor, etc.
  • Coordinate sub-contractor manpower and progress.
  • Monitor quality of work and schedule inspections
  • Manage unforeseen site conditions, weather, and/or obstacles.
  • Maintain project schedule and budgets.
  • Development of requests for information and change
  • Execute approved change orders.
  • Assist with on-site equipment/tool/property
  • Timely coordination and completion of punch list
  • Practice professional etiquette with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Prioritize effectively, adhere to deadlines, and seek additional duties when assignments are completed.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
