File Clerk performs routine filing duties, including labeling, storing, cross-referencing, and retrieving files. Places documents in and removes documents from files on a timely basis. Being a File Clerk may be responsible for performing related clerical duties. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, File Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The File Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. COMPENSATION: The starting hourly wage for this position is expected to be between $16.50-$17.50 per hour. The actual hourly wage will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
HOURS: 22.50 hours per week
SCHEDULE: Wednesday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
The Scanning Clerk has three primary functions, each of which entails multiple responsibilities. The first primary function will be the imaging of documents, up to and including preparation, organization, indexing and scanning. Additionally, the duties include, but are not limited to, filing, photocopying, logging items, and maintaining file folders. The second primary function is the importing of files to Synergy from other departments. The third primary function is to maintain the 1st floor file/stock room and keep organized. This also goes for any other stockroom that we utilize.
