Receptionist, Scanner Clerk
The Receptionist serves as the front-line representative for the company greeting customers, answers basic inquiries and directs them to the appropriate area. As a Scanner and File Clerk, you are responsible for scanning and organizing records to enable easy and quick retrieval of documents.
Duties
- Greets customers and determines the nature of their visit
- Utilizes company software to record basic information about customers
- Provides literature and other information to customers about the company
- Responds to basic customer inquiries and refers more in-depth inquiries to the appropriate department
- Directs customers to the correct departments and notifies sales teams of their customers status
- Serves as clerical and telephone back up when needed
- Scans and files paper and digital files within the appropriate systems
- Ensures all files are kept up to date at all times
- Maintains a professional demeanor and neat work environment
- Other assignments as directed by Supervisor

- Communicates well written and verbally
- Knowledge of computer functions and data entry
- Able to be a self-starter using written and verbal instruction
