File Clerk, Sr. jobs in Duluth, MN

As a File/Warehouse Clerk, your focus will be on managing paper medical records within the warehouse. The role will primarily involve efficiently purging old records using a pick list and working closely in pairs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This is a long term temporary position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:
Conduct the purging of old records based on provided pick lists.
Cross-reference patient information on paper charts to determine compliance with retention guidelines.
Identify records eligible for shredding, and place charts in designated bins.
Assist with other medical record-related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Skills:
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Ability to adhere to guidelines and protocols for medical record retention.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
