POSITION OVERVIEW
REMarkets is seeking a Director of Finance & FP&A to be the lead financial growth engineer who will be working with a team in effort to spearhead savvy financial initiatives.
REMarkets is looking for a highly talented, business focused, data driven, strategic financial leader that has business acumen and can tie that to usable data to drive business decisions. This role will be working in stride with the executive team to develop the company’s financial plan, define specific financial goals, develop a roadmap, and execute a plan based on the current business environment and the future goals of the Company.
Reporting directly to the CFO and in effect being their right-hand person, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the financial process including FP&A, business integration and Company strategy. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Reporting to the CFO, you will build on the current processes, including annual business planning, monthly reporting, and ongoing business data analysis. You will be working with the team to foster and cultivate stakeholder relationships on an internal and external level (Suppliers, Customers, Board Members, etc), as well as assist in the financial analysis and negotiation of contracts. You will work directly with the Executive team to develop an operating budget, work to ensure programmatic success through ongoing analysis, ensure compliance with all contractual and vendor program requirements and be a go to person in the company.
REMarkets has a robust financial and analytical business model that looks for continuous improvements and development to derive key company KPIs. You will work closely with our business development, account management, remarketing sales and operations team to drive success and be the glue to the business. You will identify rolling variances from the budget, develop forecasts and identify key levers to facilitate any necessary course correction and highlight best practices. You will facilitate the standard for fiscal responsibility and accountability for all departments.
This position will oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
Develop consistent reporting that satisfies the company’s line of credit needs, including regular 13-week cash flow forecasts.
Assist with the production of financial, operational and sales reports to assist the organization in achieving goals.
Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
10 years strong experience in progressive financial roles business with a resume that demonstrates those efforts; MBA or business degree preferred.
