We are representing an industry leading Fortune 500 consumer products organization who is actively seeking a Director of Finance/Controller due a recently announced promotion. The Director of Finance/Controller will report to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the VP/General Manager and will have a strong working relationship with the Divisional CFO
• Responsible for department of 16 direct employees over a 1000 employee vertically integrated campus with annualized revenues of $500M
• Candidate will have total ownership and accountability over the Accounting, Finance, and Reporting function of the facility.
• Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
• Responsible for leading month end close process
• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
• Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
• Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.

POSTION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background (BOM, absorption/inventory levels, variance analysis)
• Strong working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
• Experience leading month end close process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
