Finance Director directs an organization's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. This position is a key leader of the $7B Engines and Power Systems (“E&PS”) enterprise that is comprised of the $5B Strategic Business Unit ("SBU") product team and the $2B E&PS Original Equipment ("OE") customer team (which includes the Boeing ATR, Embraer and Bombardier accounts).
The Sr. Finance Director provides leadership to a team of CFOs, Managers, and Analysts; and is responsible for directing all elements of financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for E&PS. The position reports to the E&PS Vice President and CFO. Primary responsibilities include (i) financial planning, reporting, and analysis of all controllable financial statements; (ii) the development of short-range quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, rolling driver-based 6-quarter forecasts, and the strategic three-year outlook; (iii) financial analysis and decision guidance to senior leadership (E&PS President, CFO and Business VPs & CFOs) regarding key business and growth initiatives; and (iv) guidance on market intelligence related to key customers and products to drive smart strategies. Additional support responsibilities include the development and presentation of monthly and quarterly financial presentations to senior leadership, and contribution to broader FP&A continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives. Contribute to team development through recruitment and retention, training, mentoring, and coaching.
