Finance Director directs an organization's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. Being a Finance Director generally is the second most senior finance executive. Requires a master's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. Additionally, Finance Director may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief financial officer (CFO). Title: Director - Business Finance
As Director - Finance at Eka you will be responsible for developing financial plans, oversee financial budgeting, forecasting for the business as well as assist in the preparation of capital budgets for the business units.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Budgeting exercise. Preparation of Revenue Budget, Cost Budget and Capex Budget.
• MIS reporting, Analysis on variance with Budget & Past performance
• Monitoring Key KPIs and providing analytical support to Business team
• Revenue assurance and forecast by project/business & variance analysis
• Project cost control, Project resource deployment analysis & Invoicing follow up
• Profitability analysis project/function/business wise & comparison with Budget
• Cost forecast, Regular Cost monitoring, Cost control & reporting to all stakeholder about deviations, Cashflow management
• Tracking New Business, Interaction with sales Rep for deal forecast
• Monitoring Sales efficiency and ROI, Pipeline analysis
• Financial modelling, Cost & Utilization Model, Experience in Strategic Mergers, Fund raising, Corporate Finance
Adhere to prevailing Eka’s ISMS policies and procedures while delivering the duties.
Education and Experience:
• Must be a qualified CA
• 8 years of multi-faceted Post CA experience in Business Finance or Corporate Finance
• Strong ERP/planning/ cost tracking system experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
• Superior, proficient use of excel for financial modelling
Should have experience working in IT Product or SaaS setup.
