Fortra, LLC is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial operations and growth of our company. The Director of Finance will oversee/guide/manage/optimize our portfolio companies' financials and fills the role of a key business partner to the CEO.

You will play a critical role in guiding the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health and stability of the whole organization. You will oversee all financial operations, manage financial risks, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability goals.

Compensation:

• Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)

$125,000 - $175,000

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
• Overseeing tax, treasury, capital, asset management, regulatory compliance, and corporate portfolio management and modeling.
• Drive process improvement through effective collaboration and partnership across finance and operations.
• Deliver year-over-year growth in enterprise value.
• Provide financial leadership and collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial success and support strategic decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving common goals.
• Experience in the wine industry or a related field is a plus.
