Finance Director directs an organization's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. Being a Finance Director generally is the second most senior finance executive. Requires a master's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. Additionally, Finance Director may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief financial officer (CFO). The Finance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Finance Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Summary:
    The Finance Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, from budgeting and forecasting to accounting and reporting. You will be a key strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive profitability.

    Responsibilities:
    Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
    • Monitor financial performance against budget and report variances to management.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies for new projects and initiatives.
    • Analyze market trends and identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
    Financial Reporting & Accounting:
    • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reports.
    • Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial functions.
    Internal Controls & Risk Management:
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
    • Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes and procedures.
    Management & Leadership:
    • Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals.
    • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders. 
     
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the automotive industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
    • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software preferred.
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
