Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Finance & Insurance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Finance & Insurance Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. **Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial activities, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure financial compliance within the organization. Candidate will work closely with the C-Suite on percentage of completion accounting, work in progress statements, assigning direct and indirect cost accounts, and detailed cost tracking. Quickbooks experience is a must.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Manage financial reporting and analysis
- Implement financial strategies to support company growth
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive financial efficiency
- Supervise accounts receivable processes
**Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related field
- Background in public accounting or financial services is a plus
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills
