Finance Manager

The Franciscan Friars, TOR at St. Bernardine Monastery is seeking qualified candidates for a Finance Manager at our Hollidaysburg, PA location. This Finance Manager oversees and performs the financial functions of the organization. In addition, the Finance Manager will also enact additional business objectives set forth by Leadership and Board Members.

After completing training, this is a hybrid position.

Finance Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Process and enter daily deposits
• Perform all Accounts Payable functions including invoice prep and entry, and payment disbursement
• Perform all tasks associated with payroll including retirement and medical insurance enrollment
• Process monthly financial reports to be distributed to Board Members
• File quarterly and year end tax returns
• Create departmental and organizational budgets in conjunction with other department managers
• Support outside CPA firm with completion of audits and reviews
• Other tasks as assigned by Leadership

Finance Manager Qualifications / Skills:

• Supportive of the Mission of the Catholic Church and the Franciscan Friars, TOR
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain rapport with members of the religious community
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Possess time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work for accomplishment in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform tasks in a friendly and respectful manner

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and two years of related experience, or five years of experience preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Extensive experience with the following:

- Accounts Payable

- Payroll processing

- QuickBooks

- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
