About YouThe Finance Manager (FM) contributes to the financial success of the company by leading efforts involving strategic planning, performance measurement, forecasting, and initiative analysis.  The FM position will own the management of key areas of the P&L; providing analysis, reporting and guidance throughout the organization to ensure that financial objectives are achieved. The FM will collaborate with Operations, Corporate Finance and Accounting departments to ensure that financial efforts effectively support Noodles’ financial objectives.

Your Day in the Life

• Assume ownership for key areas of the restaurant P&L, partnering with various teams in the organization to ensure that financial targets are met in these areas.
• Analyze and consult on the financial impact of key company strategies.
• Assist in the process of analyzing and interpreting trends and financial results of the company.
• Coordinate with the Finance team in assessing needs for financial information, reports, analyses, and tools.
• Identify profit and cost opportunities and influence operators and the Finance team on the prioritization of strategies to realize such opportunities.
• Liaise between Finance and Accounting to resolve significant accounting issues.
• Develop financial reporting for varying levels of management within the company, effectively communicating actionable and important insight.
• Create complex financial models to assist in performance analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Complete ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Be an expert able to coach audiences through the tools and provide actionable feedback to the Central Support Office teams in developing and improving systems and tools.

What You Bring to the Team

• Advanced understanding of financial modeling, ROI, A/B test analysis and profit and loss statements.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI.
• Self-starter who is intellectually curious and enjoys consistent people interaction.
• Must be energetic and possess ability to communicate complex subject matter effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be well organized and interested in the restaurant / retail industry.
• 4 years in financial roles, preferably in restaurant, retail or consumer products.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
