Finance Manager manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. Being a Finance Manager forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. Provides guidance to managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced. Additionally, Finance Manager oversees the budget process and works with managers to produce and manage effective budgets. Acts as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable. POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance & Insurance Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring profitability in both the new and used vehicle department and for promoting customer retention through various channels including management of the finance and insurance process, retains a strong knowledge of the market, understands the financial aspect and impact of the sales department in-depth and demonstrates positive customer and employee relation skills. Upholds high ethical standards in all job-related aspects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Offer vehicle automotive financing and insurance to clients with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties
· Maintain good working relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
· Process financing and leasing deals accurately via Tekion
· Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations applicable to the automotive sector
· Ensure timely cash flow with the collections of contracts in transit
· Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards
· Take ownership and accountability on departmental initiatives
· Attend regular manager meetings
· Work in collaboration with other departments to accomplish company goals
· Assist in properly resolving client and employee concerns
REQUIREMENTS
· Has a track record in maintaining or exceeding profitability, controlling expenses, and maintaining customer satisfaction and retention
· Requires strong follow-up skills
· Requires strong communication skills
· Complies with all federal, state and local sale regulations and guidelines
· Submits and completes a successful background check and pre-employment drug screen
