We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to support Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) manufacturing and retail operations that will work extensively with our current Senior Vice-President of Finance.

As the VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, improving financial profitability, and leading financial aspects for our livestock and companion animal feed manufacturing and retail company. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Director of Accounting, Finance Manager, Accounting Specialist

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with manufacturing goals and overall business objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and long-term financial planning specific to the manufacturing sector.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement turnaround strategy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to optimize financial processes and reporting within the manufacturing context.
• Foster collaboration with KNG, Kent Finance, and other cross-functional departments to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the KNG Finance Team.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and reporting requirements.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team dedicated to manufacturing and retail operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• MBA or CPA preferred.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10 or more years of experience preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership (preferred within manufacturing)
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or equivalent technology) for Finance and Operations preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, particularly in a manufacturing context.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
