Tidewater Finance Company, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia has a full-time position in office available for a Front-End Collector. We provide diverse lending solutions for our dealer network while promoting employee integrity, teamwork and an uncompromised level of customer service.

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year collections experience in a Call Center environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Organized and efficient
• Adaptability and Punctual
• Ability to multi-task with strong negotiation skills
• Proficient dialer and skip tracing capabilities
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Employee will have access to personal identifiable information (PII) and business confidential information
• Collection of subprime automobile accounts through our automated dialer system
• Handle customer service issues and process related paperwork
• Negotiation for payment arrangements on customer accounts
• Basic skip tracing
• Adherence to company policies and procedures in addition to compliance of state and federal regulations
• Other duties as assigned

The standard hours for this position are:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with 1 late night per week and rotational Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
