Financial Aid Counselor - Higher Ed. jobs in Asheville, NC

Brevard College is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the Admissions Team as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. This position makes an impact on the lives of students, their families, and the college. The Director of Admissions and Financial Aid is responsible for recruiting a specified number of new students each semester; establishing strong relationships with prospective students and families. As part of this recruitment and enrollment process, the Director will coordinate financial aid packages and counseling for each student in a manner that optimizes college enrollment numbers, family and student support, and tuition resources available to deliver a high-quality, relationship-rich education to those students.

The successful candidate will have sales experience, a proven record of meeting quantitative goals, a belief in the mission of the college, and a desire to help students. Brevard College is an amazing place to work and places a premium on the success of students. A team-player and willingness to collaborate with the Admissions and Financial Aid Team is essential. Travel is required. This position is an on-campus and full-time commitment.
