Materials Financial Analyst
Location: Muncie, IN, USA
The purpose of this position is to support the financial requirements of the Muncie Plant operations. This position is responsible for the Muncie Plant cost management, general ledger and profit by product reporting. Additionally, this position will support the consolidated KPI (Key Performance Indicator) report and supervise an associate overseeing Fixed Assets and A/P (Accounts Payable).
Job Summary:
- Cost Mgt./Product Costing - Muncie Plant.
- Supervise Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable.
- Month Closing and Reporting.
- KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Reporting.
- Reconciling Accounts: Muncie/Corporate.
- Other duties as assigned: internal reports, P.I., (Physical Inventory) auditing.
Qualifications:
Knowledge skills and abilities:
- Ability to promote and carry out the "Hitachi Astemo Philosophy".
- Make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy.
- Confer with and prepare reports for upper management and possibly other Hitachi companies.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal laws and regulations are complied with in functional area.
- Interact with various levels of associates.
- Coordinate and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility.
Education:
- 4-year College Degree in Accounting and/or Business or an equivalent amount of related education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
- Knowledge of all Accounting Principles.
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties.
