POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the timely preparation and presentation of the financial statements and related financial data. Requires data mining skills, data analysis skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, ability to perform ad-hoc analyses and managing special projects in the accounting/finance department. Prepares/assists with forecasting and the annual financial budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive team.
• Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.
• Perform financial analysis of multiple business units.
• Work on special projects in the accounting/finance department.
• Supervision of other positions related to accounting/finance teams.
• Assist in preparing annual financial budget along with annual personnel budget.
• Calculations of commissions and bonus payouts.
• Various month-end duties including accrual calculations and account reconciliation activities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – DEMONSTRATED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Attention to detail and deadline driven.
• Experience in presenting financial data to various levels of an organization including executive team.
• Demonstrated ability to process large volumes of data.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve complex organizational and financial problems.
• Skill to organize, direct and effectively manage a project and/or cadence and supervise others.

Education: Minimum four-year degree preferably in Finance or Accounting

Experience: 3-5 years finance/accounting experience. Experience in report creation and data mining/analysis.

Other Requirements: Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Environment: Works in indoors in a controlled environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
