- Robert Half is seeking skilled candidates for a Financial Analyst position with experience within the manufacturing industry. If you want to become a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management, this Financial Analyst position might be the job for you! We are looking for people who can conduct financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Successful candidates will also be able to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity, is based in the Santa Clarita, California, area. Must be able to work 2-3 days ONSITE in Santa Clarita.Major responsibilities- Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting- Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process- Amass and monitor forecasting reports- Operate with key senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support- Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans- Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required- Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance- Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending- Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations- Candidate that feels comfortable working with large amounts of information and handling expectations
