Overview of the role: Corporate Controller

• The Controller reports directly to CEO and responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, and reporting activities for the organization.
• Involved in supporting presentations of the corporate financials and corporate budget to the executive team.
• Oversight of Accounting Manager and ability to provide executive leadership to the accounting department.
• Completion of month-end and year-end financial closing as well as account reconciliations.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
• Make recommendations to management for improvement of company policies, procedures, and practices.

Preferred Qualifications: Corporate Controller

• Team player with excellent communications skills and relationship building skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Ability to work independently while keeping organized, attention to detail, and managing deadlines.
