Financial Assistant (Corporate) jobs in Wichita, KS

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for reconciling various balance sheet accounts
• Responsible for various treasury functions including, but not limited to:
  • Positive pay review and approval
  • ACH and wire verification, approval, processing
  • NACHA processing
• Calculate and record various monthly journal entries
• Assist market controllers in ensuring that partnership financial records are in compliance with GAAP and IMA Policy
• Work closely with market controllers to coordinate IMA subsidiary accounting records
• Assist in coordination of audit workpapers and testing support
• Assist with Producer compensation analysis, as needed
• Records Fixed Asset transactions and runs Depreciation Reports for internal and tax purposes
• Completes special projects as assigned by management
• Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
• Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates

You Should Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Two to five years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility 
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite  including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumlf, etc.) required
• Strong understanding of US GAAP required
• Systems skills – Applied Epic, SAP Concur
