Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - POSITION: Special Needs Assistant to Millis Public Schools Extended Day Program SHIFT HOURS: Based on needs of the children. Options will be discussed with the right candidate. There is potential for as much as M-F 9:30-5:30 or as little as 2 days per week 2:45-5:45. QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years experience as a behavior interventionist/counselor. ABA or RBT cert preferred. Expertise in the field and knowledge of EBD (Emotional Behavioral Disabilities). Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is preferred. Knowledge and ability to implement physical management training required. Training in Safety Care preferred. At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required In this role, an individual works during school and after school hours to build the capacity of the extended day community to support and intervene with students experiencing behavioral dysregulation; often in collaboration with other support staff as well as the program’s Behavior Consultant. Duties of Special Needs Assistant include: Model and manage positive behavior support approaches Support staff members in addressing the needs of children with ASD Implement supports to students with learning differences (to include individualized program access care) Train and support staff to manage behavioral situations Design, develop and implement behavioral interventions in conjunction with the program’s Behavior Consultant Maintain appropriate records, assist and provide guidance to other staff in the implementation of behavioral interventions. Carry out other responsibilities as designated by the program’s Behavior Consultant or Director of Extended Day Programs.
